Jacida & Dewayne Loley

Jacida and her co-worker/husband Dewayne are artists from Shiprock. Shiprock is in the northern part of New Mexico, which is 40 miles east of the Four Corners Monument.

They are the artists that make the Navajo Kachina dolls. The work they do is 100% Navajo ideas. The dolls are handmade from aspen Wood.

The designs and paintings are also handmade. They take time in making the dolls nice and unique. The pride in their work makes them happy about how much people enjoy collecting the Kachina dolls.
